Speaker Proposals

HIMSS launched BrandHIT last June in Las Vegas, and the inaugural event went great! Nearly 150 health IT marketing professionals gathered to hear the industry’s best and brightest share insights and practical, solution-based strategies to maximize their marketing dollars and drive sales in the competitive health IT marketing space.

This year, we’re taking BrandHIT to the Nashville healthcare hub!

Who do we want for speakers? That’s easy: top-flight health IT marketing pros with a track record of success who can share real-life innovation with attendees. Innovation and track record being key words.  If you consider your great success setting up a coffee bar to entice attendees to visit your trade show booth, that’s great, but not for BrandHIT.

A few more details:

BrandHIT speakers must be able to show attendees how to cut through the noise and reach CIOs, IT managers, CNOs and other buying decision makers. Speakers MUST have demonstrated success developing multi-channel content marketing programs that drive sales. How do you succeed with this coveted audience? That’s what BrandHIT attendees will want to know.

For speakers, we want marketing professionals from healthcare vendors, B2B media companies, and PR and advertising agencies.

The event’s four key areas of interest are:  Social Media and PR, Data, Content, Face-2-Face Events.

Specific topics on interest include:

  • Mobile strategies for customer acquisition and retention
  • Account-based marketing
  • Lead recycling
  • Emerging trends in marketing –  AI, VR and other innovations
  • Battling the email open challenge with great content
  • Identifying and delivering messages through influencers
  • Cutting-edge social media strategies
  • Channel marketing and enablement
  • Leveraging predictive analytics to account based marketing
  • Data & Analytics
  • Experiential marketing & F2F
  • Post sales advocacy & community development strategies
  • Global strategies
  • Social strategies
  • Audience development and advanced marketing technologies
  • Science of content marketing
  • Video & interactive strategy imperatives
  • Sales marketing enablement
  • A patient's view of healthcare technology
  • Given the growing importance of surrounding the buyer with content how, where and when they most desire to engage with it, BrandHIT will offer deep dives into every format and channel HIT buyers use to consume content.

Presentations should be practical, actionable, and solutions-based. Case studies are a priority for this event.

To be considered, the proposal form must be filled out completely.

No Commercial Content:  Submissions will not be selected if they appear to directly promote specific products/services or are of a commercial nature. Likewise, if your submission is selected, HIMSS has the right to request that you make modifications to keep your session within the program content guidelines.

The deadline for submitting a proposal is 5 PM, February 9.

Thank you for your interest in BrandHIT 2018. If your proposal matches our requirements, we will contact you.
