Mr. Galles was CFO for Quorum Health Resources. He had been CFO for Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada for over two years. Prior to that he was Regional CFO for four other Prime Healthcare hospitals in Southern California. Prior to that, Mr. Galles was CFO for several hospitals in California and Nevada. Mr. Galles also has been a Healthcare Consultant for a national CPA firm and a large healthcare operational benchmarking company. He was also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt consultant for GE Healthcare specializing in healthcare revenue cycle improvement. In 2012 Mr. Galles was a Baldrige Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards. Mr. Galles is a CPA and is a graduate of Saint John’s University with a degree in Economics and Accounting. He also received an MBA in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management. He is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Health Information Management.
Mr. Galles is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He has also been certified as a Healthcare Financial Professional in Patient Accounts Management, Accounting, and Managed Care by HFMA. He is a Certified Professional in HIMSS and a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He also was a member of Toastmasters International and Rotary International.
In order to better visualize the findings of the persona study, a panel of influential CIO’s, CMIO’s and other key HIT purchase influences will be assembled for a lively discussion of these business and emotional drivers, The session will cover how these key executives would characterize their relationship with vendors and how that eventually relates to the value-based patient care they provide.
